St.Giles Niche Market returns

What:  Niche Mother’s Day market at The Tramsheds

When: 9am-3pm Saturday April 27th

Where:  Tramsheds, Inveresk

Kicking off St.Giles events for 2024, the Niche Market returns to The Tramsheds next weekend where shoppers will have the chance to find something special for mum ahead of Mother’s Day.

A line up of 47 premium Tasmanian designers, makers and creators has been assembled for the market, including eight first time niche makers.

“Niche has always been about supporting new and emerging Tasmanian makers and creators, so it’s incredibly exciting for us to have almost 20% of the makers attending their first Niche next weekend,” Market manager Scott Gelston said.

“I think the joy for shoppers attending our markets comes from reconnecting with makers they know and love, and finding something unexpected from the new stallholders.”

Doors will open at The Tramsheds from 9am on Saturday, and entry is free for shoppers.

The market runs until 3pm

A fundraising event for St.Giles, stallholders donate 20% percent of their total sales to support St.Giles work across the state.
