About NDIS

St Giles and the NDIS

The NDIS represents a quantum leap forward for Australia as a nation. It marks an exciting time of opportunity and support for Australian’s living with disability, their families, and their carers.

Our Service Centres in Launceston and Hobart, are a place where you can meet with our experienced and passionate staff to work towards achieving your goals and dreams.

StGiles Fees & Charges for NDIS services

From 17th October 2022 we will increase our pricing in line with the NDIS pricing changes announced by the NDIA on October 1st.

In addition to the October 17th price increases, St.Giles are also increasing our cents per kilometre pricing in line with the NDIS price guide to 97 cents per kilometre. This pricing increase was announced in July by the NDIA.

From 1 July 2022 the NDIS are increasing price limits for services delivered by disability support workers by 9% to address known cost pressures on providers, including:

  • changes to the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services (SCHADS) Industry Award conditions that will come into effect on 1 July 2022
  • costs associated with managing the COVID-19 pandemic
  • NDIS quality and safeguards regulatory requirements
  • Fair Work Commission’s recent wage decision
  • superannuation guarantee charge increase.

The Annual Pricing Review showed the cost of delivering core supports was higher than anticipated during 2021-22, as a result of the impact of COVID-19 and quality and safeguarding requirements.

The prices for all of StGiles services and supports in the NDIS are in line with the latest NDIS Price Guide.
