Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities? Do you thrive in a supportive and inclusive work environment? Look no further! We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Disability Team Leader to join our team in Launceston, Tasmania.

As a Team Leader you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a small team, facilitating the delivery of high-quality services to participants with complex needs. Along with managing daily administration and reporting, site operations and compliance tasks, you will provide leadership and support to your team ensuring participants outcomes are maximised.

You will provide effective leadership and oversite of the program and/or worksite by prominently working in the field. You will lead and champion our organisations values and be able to work with your team to provide mentoring and development opportunities.

Your Expertise & Responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated leader to provide direction, site leadership and act as first point of contact for your team to enhance workplace culture, teamwork, support, and accountability.

You will develop and implement participant- centred support plans in consultation with participants, families and disability support worker to maximise the outcomes for participants.

You will monitor each participant to pro-actively identify any emerging support requirements and ensure that timely reviews of service delivery occur as required.

You will have experience in monitoring, evaluating and reviewing performance of team members and other staff within your work site, including providing feedback to promote collaborative working relationships.

We require a current Driver’s Licence, National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Vulnerable People Check (child-related activity).
