Child Psychology

Child Psychology

Our teams are qualified to provide Autism assessments for children.

They are also highly regarded for their range of intervention options for children and young adults to help manage social, emotional and psychological factors that may be impacting on a person’s ability to engage in day-to-day living.

During assessment sessions, a Psychologist looks at gaining an understanding of an individual’s adaptive behaviours, or day-to-day activities that help children get along with others and foster independence. A Psychologist may also assess an individual’s development or thinking and reasoning skills. Intervention options may include treatment and management of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Stress Response Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, sleep problems, or anxiety or depression resulting from pain management, bereavement, grief and loss, adjustment to disability or caregiver/child attachment and relationship difficulties.

StGiles offers both public and private Psychology services.
