Burnie Centre

Our Burnie Centre is a purpose-built centre above the mainstream childcare service, Alexander Beetle House (operated by Discovery Early Learning).

This space allows for specialist learning opportunities and intensive therapy support with planned integration with ABH and the Burnie Community.

Opening Hours

The Burnie centre is open from Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 5.30pm.

The centre is closed for all national and local public holidays and for 4 staff development days (one each term) throughout the year.

The centre is open for school holidays but is closed between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

What it Costs

Fees Funding from the Department of Social Services allows us to deliver a comprehensive early intervention service for the cost of standard childcare. Only permanent residents can access this subsidised cost. Children and families on temporary visas can access the service at full…
