SLIP Frontline Leader – Support Services Launceston

Lead a dynamic team running our Social Leisure and Inclusion Program – SLIP!

Our Support Services Team in the North is looking for a SLIP Frontline Leader. Is this full time role the next step in your career?

As SLIP Frontline Leader you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the small team running this group-based day program. Tasks will include facilitating the delivery of high-quality services to participants with complex needs. Along with managing daily administration and reporting, site operations and compliance tasks, you will provide leadership and support to your team ensuring participants outcomes are maximised.

You will help direct the activities that make up the SLIP program such as, music, swimming, cooking, as well as organising and leading community based day trips across Northern Tasmania.

You will provide effective leadership and oversight of the program by prominently working in the field. You will lead and champion our organisations values and be able to work with your team to provide mentoring and development opportunities.

Your Expertise & Responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated leader to provide direction, site leadership and act as first point of contact for your team to enhance workplace culture, teamwork, support, and accountability.

You will develop and implement participant- centred support plans in consultation with participants, families and disability support worker to maximise the outcomes for participants.

You will monitor each participant to pro-actively identify any emerging support requirements and ensure that timely reviews of service delivery occur as required.

You will have experience in monitoring, evaluating and reviewing performance of team members and other staff within your work site, including providing feedback to promote collaborative working relationships.

We require a current Driver’s Licence, National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Vulnerable People Check (child-related activity).
