Niche Market moves to QVMAG in 2023
Niche Market will call Launceston’s Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery home for the next three years.
In an historic agreement, Niche and the QVMAG have agreed that the market will be held four times a year at the Gallery’s Inveresk site, commencing Saturday, April 1 2023.
The super-premium Tasmanian designed and made Niche Market, is a social enterprise of St. Giles.
Money raised by Niche is directed to early childhood intervention programs, not funded by the NDIS.
Launceston Mayor Danny Gibson said Niche and St.Giles were valued parts of the City’s fabric.

“Our city is enriched by Niche and the opportunities St. Giles provides,’’ Ald. Gibson said.
Niche will also go back to pre-COVID capacity with up to 60 stallholders at each of the four markets.
40 new stallholders will join Niche in 2023 and now is the time to apply.
