Joy Riders is an “on-time mobility” program for children aged 0-6 years who are experiencing a delay in their mobility.

The program utilises play, exploration, and one of our fun & friendly powered devices such as the Koala chairs, little cars or Wizzybugs, to get little people moving around their environment, at the same time as their peers.

The program is supported by evidence that access to “on-time mobility” through the use of powered mobility devices, has positive impacts on independent mobility and other key developmental skills.

Joy Riders is partly subsidised by the teams at Woolworths’ Tasmanian stores.
