Risk & Compliance Specialist – Launceston

The Opportunity

We are offering a full-time position as a key member of the Risk & Compliance Team.

You will play a key role in supporting the governance, risk and compliance activities of St Giles, providing support to the Senior Manager Risk & Compliance and wider Risk & Compliance team.

You will assist with the management, coordination and implementation of governance, risk and compliance management systems and processes, and assist with oversight of the risk and control framework, incident management & business continuity processes.

Your Expertise & Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Risk & Compliance Specialist looking to further their career and assist with the development of a newly formed team within St Giles, including the implementation of GRC software.

You will also have a track record of working collaboratively, have excellent communication, and well-honed relationship management and influencing skills.  The role works closely with Senior Leaders across the organisation, supporting risk identification, assessment and treatment, as well as compliance obligation management. Guiding and assisting risk owners on how best to implement controls and the provision of insightful reporting are key components of this role.

We require a current drivers licence, National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Vulnerable People Check (child-related activity).  Current COVID-19 Vaccination is also required.
