Speech Pathology

Speech Pathology provides assessment, intervention and support to children with communication and/or feeding problems.

St Giles assists children with:

  • language difficulties that might include, putting words together to form phrases & sentences and using language in a social situation;
  • speech difficulties such as stuttering, unclear speech and voice problems;
  • voice problems such as nasal sounding, hoarse & croaky;
  • feeding difficulties such as chewing, swallowing, sucking, dribbling & messy eating;
  • non speech communications such as sign language, picture symbols, communication boards, computers and voice output communication devices.
