St Giles Psychology Service offers assessment and therapy for children from birth to five years of age. Free advice is available for parents and carers with concerns about their child's development and behaviour. The Service also offers help to parents and carers of pre-school children for persistent problems and difficulties with:

  • toilet training
  • slowly developing social skills
  • slowly developing self-care skills
  • uncooperativeness
  • hurting other people
  • destructiveness
  • inappropriate anger
  • engaging in necessary learning activities
  • too-clingy child
  • over dependency on adults
  • fearfulness
  • nightmares
  • bedtime resistance
  • night-time waking
  • eating
  • disagreements about behaviour management
