Employment Pre-requisites
Direct Client Employees are required to hold a current manual Tasmanian drivers licence and we prefer Support Workers to hold a tertiary qualification in Disability Studies, plus a recognised first aid certificate and medication administration accreditation.
St Giles will consider assisting new employees to obtain these qualifications and offers annual training programs in each area.
Employees are also required to undertake manual handling training.
Pre-requisites for other positions can be obtained from the Human Resources Manager.
