200 WALK WITH US

The weather was randomly dreadful, but 200 supporters and clients of St Giles had plenty to smile about during Walk With Me Hobart.

The walk, to raise awareness of disability, was held on Sunday, December 16 at Parliament House, Hobart.

Tasmanian Tigers cricketer Tim Paine attended and was generous with his time, signed autographs and joined in the short walk around the Hobart waterfront.

The Bright Stars dance troupe were one of the day's magical moments, engaging children and young adults with Down Syndrome in some scintillating and crowd pleasing dance numbers.

A St Giles physiotherapist Jason caught the children's imagination as pied piper, while St Giles mascot `Giles' was a much loved guest.

The Premier and Tasmania's major political parties were represented among the walkers as well as a stong team from St Giles southern service.

Thank you to all who took the time to attend.
