HOLIDAY HOME
What it offers
The holiday home has 3 double bedrooms with mattresses and some bedding provided. A fully equipped kitchen is included with electric stove, microwave oven, large fridge, crockery, utensils, kettle and cooking equipment. A colour TV, video recorder and radio is provided. The bathroom is wheelchair accessible.
It has secure fencing and a carport providing accessible undercover parking adjacent to the front door. Up to 6 people can be accommodated. Groceries and other supplies are available from the nearby St Helens supermarket.
Eligibility
The holiday home is available for people with disabilities and their families. Disability Service Providers may also use the facility.
Availability
The holiday home is available all year. Bookings need to be made well in advance particularly during warmer months.
Location
The holiday home is located at 185 St Helens Point Road, Stieglitz, a few minutes drive from St Helens on Tasmania's East Coast. St Helens is approximately 2 hours drive from Launceston, 2.5 hours from Hobart and 3.5 hours from Devonport. The home is on the waterfront with level block, beach area and jetty.
Rental
$35 per night or $150 per week payable in advance. A $10 deposit is required on obtaining the key; refundable on return. A telephone is provided and charges apply for all outgoing calls.
