ADULT SERVICES
Supported Accommodation
St Giles provides supported accommodation (group homes) around Launceston and on the North West Coast of Tasmania.
Each house provides long term supported accommodation for up to 4 adults.
Each service focuses on independence and community participation and integration.
As this is a long term accommodation option, vacancies occasionally arise.
Placements are subject to St Giles' guidelines and protocols of the Department of Health and Human Services.
Personal Support
St Giles offers personal support to adults with disabilities who choose to live in their home.
The service is offered to adults with allocated Government funding, non government compensable finance or private funding.
Programmes are designed to meet the specific needs of the individual to enhance independence and community participation.
This service is available across all hours and days of the week to all areas of Tasmania.
Clients are encouraged to have a direct involvement in the selection of support staff.
